Would not purchase from Company - I ordered this item well in advance to receive it for my child for Christmas. When I placed the order I did not realize that I was ordering from an actual company, Price Pros, as opposed to Amazon. The item never arrived and I did not get an email that the item was out of stock until after Christmas. I will never order from this company again.

Perfect for pretend, would not recommend for serious use - I bought this for my 10 year old daughter who loves to sing and dance. The stand is what I was looking for mostly and that is a good thing, considering the piece attaching the microphone to the cord was cracked in 3 places. I taped it back together, and since we have no plans to utilize the cord with an amplifier I guess for the money paid, it will serve the purpose for pretend play.

Stand OK microphone not good - I bought this for my teenager son who plays guitar. We also bought a mixer from RadioShack to feed the microphone and guitar outputs to an amplifier.We were not happy with the quality of the microphone. The voice is muffled and not clear at all. We bought a microphone from RadioShack for $35 and that was great. We thought of returning the whole thing to Amazon but since we liked the stand (it is small and compact .. not too heavy unlike the ones we saw at RadioShack) we kept it. We don t use the microphone at all.If you are buying it for the included microphone, my advice would be to stay away from it.

WE ALL LOVE THIS - NICE SOUNDING MICROPHONE AND INEXPENSIVE. MY DAUGHTER LOVES TO PERFORM WITH THIS-AND SO DO I.WHAT A GREAT FUN ITEM. OUR NEIGHBORS COME OVER AND HAVE JUST AS MUCH FUN AS WE DO. GREAT BUY. I DID END UP GOING TO A LOCAL MUSIC STORE AND BUYING A PEAVEY GUITAR AMP FOR THIS. (THE COST WAS ABOUT $60.00). THIS AMP SERVES OUR PURPOSE FOR THERE IS FAR MORE ELABORATE SOUND SYSTEMS OUT THERE. I WOULD RECOMMEND TAKING THE MICROPHONE AND CORD TO THE MUSIC STORE WHEN LOOKING FOR YOUR AMP. SOME AMPS SQUEAL WHEN THE MICROPHONE GETS TOO CLOSE. WHEN I BOUGHT THE MICROPHONE I DID NOT HAVE A CLUE WHAT WE NEEDED FOR SOUND. THE MUSIC STORE PEEPS WERE HELPFUL FOR I WAS COMPLETELY IN THE DARK WHEN IT CAME TO SOUND SYSTEMS.

Very Professional Microphone, Reasonably Priced, but.. - We wanted to purchase a sturdy microphone and stand for our four year old grand son. This Nady microphone was perfect, realistic-looking, not junky plastic. Other reviewers cautioned us about the linked Hasbro amplifier. We contacted a representative of the Nady Company who was unable to help us. A salesman at Radio Shack told us to try Guitar Center. Bingo! They sold us the Daneloctro N10 Honeytone Battery Powered amp for $20, including battery. It even has a plug for ear phones. Our grandson is having a blast playing his guitar, singing, and backing up his four year old friend.
